Engineering Solutions (R&D)

Thermal and acoustic insulation, wind load, and structural calculations are carried out; where standard systems fall short, project-specific profiles and joints are developed.
Joinery is a building component, not just an installation job. System selection is therefore based on calculated performance figures: thermal transmittance, acoustic insulation, air and water tightness, and wind load.
Where standard systems fall short — large openings, high floors, or facades with unusual geometry — project-specific profile reinforcement and joint details are developed. Structural calculations and joint work with the system manufacturer are carried out where required.
What this step covers
• Thermal transmittance (Uw) and condensation assessment
• Acoustic insulation and air/water tightness performance
• Wind load and structural reinforcement calculations
• Project-specific profile and joint detail development
